Prawn Pinangat

Serve 4

200 grams tiger or white prawns
1/3 cup cooking laing
Salt, to taste
White pepper, to taste
8 slices cheese or ½ cup grated cheese


Step 1: Remove the prawn meat from their shells.
Step 2: Blanch the shells then set aside.
Step 3: Saute the prawn meat in cooking oil then add the cooked laing. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Put back the sautéed shrimp with laing inside the shell.

Step 5: Top with sliced or grated cheese and bake in a preheated 350 F oven until top becomes crisp.
