Serve 6 to 8
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ kilo beef tenderloin, cut into long thin strips
1 large green pepper, but into strip
1 large onion, cut into strips
3 whole nori sheets, cut in half
3 cups cooked sushi rice (recipe below)
80 grams cream cheese, cut into long thin strips
- In a sauté pan, heat the oil until smoking and sear beef strips quickly, leaving it medium.
- In the same pan, sauté the green pepper and onion strips until caramelized.
- Lay out half a nori sheet on a sushi rolling mat and fill up 4/5 of the sheet with a layer of sushi rice, leaving 1/5 of the nori sheet free.
- Line up 1 stripof beef, 1 strip of cheese and some of the caramelized vegetables on one side of the nori sheet with rice up to the edge.
- Roll up the sushi into a large cigar shape, and seal the nori sheet by pressing firmly.
